Default Question about changing secondary

Hey,
I was thinking of changing my Me/N to a Me/E, but I'm a little worried about skills. I've done pretty much all skill-rewarding quests out there (almost about to ascend) and am wondering what happens when I get my new Ele class?

Will I have to buy every skill from a skill trainer? Will I have access to all the ele-specific quests that reward skills? I don't think my 18 skill points will get me too far, so I hope I can do some quests to get the essential spells and stuff like that. Can anyone confirm what happens once you switch secondary class, with regards to skills?

I switched my secondary from E/N to E/Mo. I went back to every town that had a skill trainer and picked up the skills that were available. I believe that when you do quests that give skills that the 2 that are awarded are based on your primary and secondary at the time so since I completed the quests as a E/N I can not go back and do it over to get the Mo skill reward. There probably will be a few quests you can pick up that will only give rewards from one class, I forgot which town it is in but there were quests for each class I believe. From what I hear, as long as you do the quests you can change back and forth between secondaries, I have done them all but only changed once so far. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I hoped this wasn't the case, but I guess that's how it is. I have absolutely no idea how the 20 or so skill points I have are gonna be enough for getting all my needed ele skills as well as progressing my mesmer skills.

Just to clarify things, can I do coop missions that I've already completed, and get the skill point reward? Or is completing new quests and gaining a level the only way of obtaining new skill points?

There has to be a better way to get skill points... unless guild wars wants us creating new characters just for the skill points... However, you do get skill points after level 20, but you still require a certain amount of exp

Fissure of Woe quests give you large amounts of experience that could compensate you, it would take approximately 1-2 hours to get 1-2 skill points, depending on team. That's only completing the 3 quests Tower of Courage, Forest Banshees, and Forest Griffons (those aren't the exact name, can't think of them at the moment, im at work). 20 skill points is quite a bit of skill points, and should keep you fit enough to make the builds you want with a small bit of variety, with a larger variety becoming available as you keep on in the game.
